It would be so awesome if writers of drivel like this would take a business class and learn that just because something "allegedly" sold for $120 million, which I sincerely doubt. it does not mean that the person pocketed $120 million.

Considering that she was basically broke just a short time ago, whatever company/companies she has would most likely have been almost 100% financed by partners who would own the lions share of the company/companies.

Also, the $120 million would not be the net of what anyone would get, it would be the gross sale price. After creditors, attorneys, taxes etc get paid, the net would be in the tens of millions and then she would get her cut. If she made even $5 million on the whole deal I would be shocked.

We can add US to How Bethenny Frankel Make $120M. This is about marketing. Bethenny was able to sell her skinnygirl brand to Beam because she has fans. Who cares about the product. skinnygirl comes in with it's own consumer base. It's weird. She's smart.

Second place on Martha Stewarts Apprentice, Popular on Real Housewives of New York, 2 successful spinoffs of that show and came in second on Skating with the stars. Add to that successful chef, author, businesswoman. She has a lot going on. What have you done?

Plenty out there that aren't getting the hype, but are doing well. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and all their execs and underlings are set for life. There was a guy on a show a while back who made millions many times over from inventing the house pads that dog's p e e on. He didn't even go to college. Lots of stories like that. There's money to be made out there...
