Lohan probably needs to do some real jail time to finally realize that life is not all about her and just because she has celebrity dos not mean she is above the law. I fault her parents a lot with her troubles. Good parenting goes a long way.

FINALLY now can we not hear about her anymore....She should have been in jail years ago and if she was one of the regular folks...she wouldve been....See how long she is actually there...and if she is in general pop or segragated with all her money and fringe benefits.

I don't know, I just LOVE the meltdown. I'm rooting for a switft and fast fall to the bottom.... just sayin.

This circus is getting boring. She's an adult who should take responsibility for her actions. Did she take the necklace without paying for it? Yes. Did she get put on probation for drunk driving, reckless driving, missing court dates, etc.? Yes. Did her own attorney describe her as an inconsiderate person? Yes.

Make her do the time.

Lindsey Lohan is an addict who should hook up with Charlie Sheen. A marriage made in heaven and they'd live happily ever after. A look at her wonderful parents will tell you that she grew up utterly devoid of any moral compass. In Hollywood, there are very few people with sufficient independence who are able to see the weaknesses and follies of their contemporaries and remain themselves untouched by them.

What is the problem with those judges ! All they care is profiling themselves as tough, 120 days ! Leave poor Lohan alone and go after serious felons !

I'm not a Lindsay Lohan fan but she's human and young without much direction. I think its unfair for people and the press to continuously judge her. She has a problem and needs help not continous criticism.

Lindsay is home now making plans for another Saturday night out on the town in Hollywood. Jail ?!?!? omg.... not the "ladies of the night"' in Los Angeles. How silly.
In the meantime, after noting Fab's comment, he is so very corrent. In Los Angeles, a not famous, young black man, age 20, no priors, sits in NVVC since 02/02 on NO BAIL awaiting his next prelim for "Robbery w/ "enhancements" charges holding faces 30 years in STATE prison. It wouldn't matter that it was shown beyond a reasonable doubt that he was at least 20 miles and eight hours time-frame "impossible" for allegations. It doesn't matter that an ex-con and long time drug user claims he was there ? It doesn't matter that the "victim" stated he was robbed by a young black male of $200.00 and can not ID this youth among a line up of 30 young black males ? Lindsay Lohan, Spears, Paris and the babes of Hollywierd can not afford jail - rather the entertainment world can't. On 05/02 the 20 yr old young man may be forced to take 13 yrs in prison as he doesn't have an upcoming movie or more than a decent lawyer in an overly crowded system of SF Courts.
Money, money, money. It CAN buy you freedom ; that is better than love if you had to choose.

if you haven't figured it out by now...there are 2 justice systems in this country...one for the rich, and one for the poor.

Yes, I think I'm catching on. The LA justice system has an additive of celebrity and non-celebrity "feel".Kinda' like the black white thingy too. I apologize, I meant COURT,not JUSTICE system.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm hoping that Lilo will get a reality check form this incident and mend her ways. Her acting career is at stake and she's putting it in jeopardy with her carousing and other crazy antics.

Wouldn't it be cool if Lindsay met her twin in jail and they figured out they were really sisters like in Parent Trap?

Actually the 480 hours of community service sounds harsher than the 120 days in jail , I guess (I never did either in my life, yet)
10:08 AM on 04/23/2011
Lack of freedom is harsh, working in the morgue, harsh too, that would be scary to me, but she is old enough to know by know that id doesn't want to get wet don't go out in the rain. Hope she'd get wiser once and for all, and stop behaving like a brat

Does anyone believe she will serve the entire time? This is just as much the systems fault as it is her's. Over and over they let her skate where most if not all of us would have been in jail already. Do the kid a favor and lock the door and throw away the key so she finally learns that there are consequences for one's actions.
10:02 AM on 04/23/2011
Yeah, because Lindsey Lohan is dangerous and needs to be off the streets before she kills someone.

She drives drunk, so yes she can be a threat to public safety.

Give her a break, look at her role model parents. She's a super diva. Apparently she didn't see valley of the dolls "booze and pills have no place on broadway dear" scene. I must have said it wrong so all the queens out there, please correct me. It's Hollywood that did her in. Look at every child star, Gary Coleman, his sister from different strokes, Corey Haim. Etc.

Give her a break! No way. She's an adult who should face adult consequences for her actions. Stop putting the blame on her parents.

She had poor role models indeed but I can't say she had a hard life compared to the homeless kids or many inner city kids. She didn't have to worry about being shot, or where to take a shower, get a meal or go to sleep if homeless. I just don't feel sorry for her. She's an adult and needs to take responsibility for herself. The life of a child actor is surreal but it can't be compared to the lives of so many children of poverty and crime ridden areas. No one has sympathy for these children when they're in their 20's and get into trouble. People are unwilling to give them the multiple breaks that this poor excuse has been given.

Her transition from youthful supermodel, actress, and singing star to one approaching middle age is not going well. Let's hope she can clear her name on the theft charges and get some help with whatever internal turmoil is causing her to act out. Not a big fan here, yet feel some empathy is in order for any troubled soul. Her bio reveals some disruptions to her family life at an early age, along with an unusually early beginning to her careers in modeling and acting. Growing older is never easy for these kids.

middle age ? hahaha !!! this girl is still in her TWENTIES !! I don't know what age you think she is APROACHING< but your analogies are APPROACHING the ridiculous...

I'm sure she can write it all off on her tax return as "research" for her Mob Wife movie role.
