Puppy Cam: Shiba Inu, Kika, Returns For Her Final Litter (LIVE VIDEO)

The Shiba Inu Puppy Cam is back.

Just in time for Earth Day, these little Shiba Inu pups are the children of Kika, the breeding dog that first became famous in 2008 when her litter became a viral sensation. According to the breeders this will be her third and final batch of puppies.

The six that are on camera this time were all born Thursday, April 14th.

The boys (Chozen, Chame, and Chikara) and the girls (Chisaki, Chiyoko, and Charlotte) all have families waiting for them when they're ready to leave their mother.

Another live animal cam recently took the Internet by storm when tens of thousands tuned in to a live eagle cam in Iowa to witness the hatching of 3 bald eagles. That stream is still live, and continues to enjoy a huge audience, as the baby eagles grow up.

Instead of watching the breeding of dogs that contribute to the overpopulation problem while thousands of puppies are killed each day, watch one of the rescue cams instead. Just as cute but without the moral ambiguity. There's many to choose from. I currently like the Delray Kitten Cam.

Very cute, Please go to your local AC and adopt a puppy from it or a shelter. We currently have about 20 puppies about 8 weeks. It is a small AC. So I am sure there are many many more at larger local shelters and animal controls.

I've adopted three rescue pups and they are the best dogs a person could share a life with.

Might have to put this puppy-cam link on my work computer so I can watch for a minute or two when things get really stressful. Nothing lessens the tension like a bunch of puppies!
