newyorker.com:

Barack Obama came to Washington just six years ago, having spent his professional life as a part-time lawyer, part-time law professor, and part-time state legislator in Illinois. As an undergraduate, he took courses in history and international relations, but neither his academic life nor his work in Springfield gave him an especially profound grasp of foreign affairs. As he coasted toward winning a seat in the U.S. Senate, in 2004, he began to reach out to a broad range of foreign-policy experts--politicians, diplomats, academics, and journalists.

The people of Bahrain love their murderous regime and America's friendly policy towards the butchers in power there.
Oil and naval bases are more important than human rights.

Oh...look at Syria

There will be no Place for America in the Middle east once this passes which is a good thing. But Obama has made Saudi Arabia move toward China ,he has destroyed the US-Saudi Relations ,this man is a clown in the Middle East.

What's the matter right wingers?  Jealous of the fact that Obama's foreign policy is more successful than Bush's?
03:59 PM on 04/25/2011
I see lots of right wingers on this threat trying to discredit Obama because they are too embarrassed to admit that Obama's foreign policy is WAAAAAAAAY better and FAAAAAAAR more rational than Bush's disastrous foreign policy.  They're jealous of Obama's foreign policy success.  They can't STAND the fact that he's better than Bush even at WAR, which is a republican strength.

"How The Arab Spring Remade The President's Foreign Policy".
If Wikileaks is correct, it's the other way around.  The title should read:
"How the President's Foreign Policy started the Arab Spring".
In my opinion, the Arab Spring started with Obama's speech in Cairo.  Read the speech:

I am sure glad we have Obama in control, and I hope we assume a majority in the House in 2012, win the presidency by a landslide and improve our majority in the Senate. Then we can see many more positive changes.

Mideast protests were largely due to doubling food costs to nations where most of the populations already spend 80% of wages on food. This was a direct result of US speculators and Obama's Wall Street cohorts.
What did Obama do? Put blinders on his eyes and his fingers in his ears.

The only foreign policies Obama has drawn are those of his closest Administrative appointments - Boeing, Ge, Monsanto, bankers.

It is 100% about gracing them with federal dollars for a good old back scratching.

Obama has adopted the Reagan/Bush manual, a guide to spoon-feeding the elite at the cost of middle/poor class and the health and lives of our military.

after his ah....... "performance" to this point. We as a nation really need to consider impeachment.

The place is in a shambles and he does not even seem to care. At least say something man! Does he enjoy ushering in the death of the USA?
