Gwyneth Paltrow The New Face Of Coach

Looks like The Goopster has bagged another gig.

Women's Wear Daily reports that Gwyneth Paltrow will indeed be the new brand ambassador of Coach, confirming rumors that first surfaced last week after the actress was spotted at the brand's N.Y.C. headquarters.

She apparently already struck a pose for Coach's 70th anniversary campaign shot by Peter Lindbergh and slated to drop come September. Gwynie said things like, “I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag,” and Coach's executive creative director Reed Krakoff called her "a natural choice." Then, they all lived happily ever after. I happen to like Gwynth and I know many find fault with her. Country Strong, Glee and now Coach seem like obvious attempts to rejuvinate her popularity.

Coach has become equivalent to a brand like Versace? Perhaps.
Big haired ladies from Long Island and California (not to mention horrifying numbers of Europeans, Russians and possibly all Arabs) adore Versace.

Actually, I think of Coach as kind of the classic not trying too hard brand. And reasonably priced. And the women who favor it seem more like somewhat budget conscious working woman in professional jobs. Just the kind that would hate her.

If your interested in buying designer Coach bags or any designer clothing, there is no need to pay top dollar, there are fakes/replicas made in China and sold for a few dollars then shipped to USA buyers for cheap and the quality look fine ! The internet, boutiques and flea markets are loaded with clothing goods that state they are authentic designer goods but were bough for little and marked up outrageously . Buyer should always beware

Not surprising at all, given how easily recognizable she is, and how many different things she's doing lately.

This will probably work out well for Coach. Gwyneth is a perfect spokeswoman for such a company.

She has won as Oscar. That in itself indicates that people more relevant than you know she can act. She has appeared in many beauty campaigns and has dated men like Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck, thereby indicating again that she is not ugly.

Winning an oscar is meaningless. Plenty of mediocre actors win. She just wasn't that great in Shakespeare in Love. However, she was very good in Proof and Sylvia, two films that not a lot of people saw unfortunately.
