Mayor Bloomberg hopes Prince William and Kate Middleton will be able to find some time away from prying public eyes.
"In some sense, I feel sorry for them, although that's their job and that sort of thing," Bloomberg said on his weekly WOR Radio show. "They should let 'em alone and have as much a normal life as you can (considering) what their jobs are."
The Mayor fiendishly guards his own privacy, so much so that the city fought back against a bill that would have required the mayor to disclose when he was leaving the city.
The bill was a byproduct of the mayor's mismanagement of the December snow storm, in which city officials were unsure who was in charge while Bloomberg was away.
