Obama To Deliver Unusual Sunday Evening Statement

President Barack Obama will deliver an unexpected statement on Sunday evening.

A White House pool report says:

"Pool is informed that there is no longer a lid and that the president will make a statement as early as 10:30 p.m."

CNN's Steve Brusk tweets that "we are told it is a national security related announcement by the President."

The AP reports:

Al-Qaida mastermind Osama bin Laden is dead and the United States has his body, a person familiar with the developments says.

President Barack Obama is expected to make that announcement from the White House late Sunday night.

The person spoke on the condition of anonymity in order to speak ahead of the president.

Let's get this straight. We should give credit to the guy who was warned before hand about the attack but chose not to do anything. The attack happened on his watch but he broke up the task force designed to catch him and famously said that he didn't care where he was or think much about him!
