A man who visited a palm reader in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood on Sunday afternoon allegedly pretended to be a police officer and made untoward demands of his fortune teller.
Authorities describe the suspect as between 20 to 30 years old, around 5'4" tall, and 125 to 140 pounds. The man entered an apartment on North Seminary Avenue, where a palm reader from New York was visiting, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
After getting a reading from the woman, the man allegedly told her that he was a Chicago police officer, and then began demanding cash and sexual favors from her, the Chicago Tribune reports. The woman fled the scene and contacted the real police, who are now seeking the impostor.
So far, no one is in custody in the incident, which took place around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
