Urbahn said he was told by a reputable source that bin Laden had died. The news was confirmed shortly thereafter by numerous news outlets and later President Barack Obama himself. Twitter says that more than 4,000 tweets per second were being sent at the beginning and end of Obama's speech.

The burial at sea was wrong, No matter what a person religious traitions should be upheld. I not saying that I like him, but I feel that his body should have been turned over to his family. Any terriotist that we have killed body was turned over to their family for burial. Osama should have been given the same respect. This hurt our stands on being moral.

Maybe some of his family was aboad ship when he was dropped. At any point I don't want a shrine built to him over his remains. Let his gulible followers kneel to the shore line when they morn him.

Thanks for finally destroying the Frankenstein you unleashed on the world America. (Osama was trained by the CIA and sent to Afghanistan.) And Thanks for bombing the shit out of Afghanistan and Iraq for a decade and then finally getting the guy in PAKISTAN, the same country which has been receiving billions from the US despite how obviously shady they are. But, alas its too little too late, Al Queda has grown un-proportionately and the war on terror just accelerated its pace as well as creating a global recession.

Much of what you say is true and should be changed. But it seems this way of acting is institutionalized. (How many administrations are responsible?) How does it get changed?

Osama bin Ladin is just one man, he does not comprise the whole of Al Quaeda. We need to be very careful.

What's really funny is that President Obama is probably waiting on the "deathers" or whatever they will call themselves to come out and have a conspiracy about this....He will let it go on for a while so they can embarrass themselves....Then he will show the video and pictures and DNA....

Can't understand why they didn't photograph the body, or release photos if they did. Now we are doomed to a lifetime of conspiracy theories from nutbags, many who have posted here.

I am sure you will get lots of pictures soon. As for the nutbags, they are what they are and even leopards cannot change their spots.

Actually pictures were released in many foreign newspapers, we just don't have the habit of displaying gory pictures like those on our front pages. But maybe we will get some after they clean him up a bit.

I wonder why everyone is so happy that will not be the end of terrorism there are still more out there someone will take over where Osama left off.
01:02 PM on 05/02/2011
I don't recall anyone saying this was the end of terrorism.

Everyone is happy because the head and spiritual leader of the rather robust terrorist organization that killed 3,000 of our civilians has been nullified.

He was the top of the FBI's most wanted list. Now number 2 is number 1 but number 2 is no Osama, otherwise he would have been number one already.

That's like saying, Michael Jordan retired. Who cares, someone will take over where he left off. Well, no. They won't. At least not with as much power and support.

From what I heard Bush was Behind 9/11 it was a false flag just like when President Kennedy's leader of defense was planning to kill off soldiers and blaming it on Cuba,so the tax payer would give them permission to have a all out war with Cuba. President Kennedy fired him when he found out what he had planned. Check it out at True TV/Conspiracies Theories with Jesse Ventura the evidence points to Bush. Jesse Ventura Ex-Navy Seal,Ex-Mayor and Ex-Governor of Minnesota, And Ex-Wrestler. Watch Video of 9/11.

What's interesting is that you are such a negative person that you can't even take pride in a job well done by our troops and our President. Osama was a symbol of power for terrorism. If you can't get something as simple as that, then there's really no hope for you.
