Marie Osmond Remarries First Husband Stephen Craig

LAS VEGAS -- Marie Osmond has remarried her first husband in a private ceremony at a Mormon temple in Las Vegas. Osmond said in a statement that the 51-year-old singer and 54-year-old Stephen Craig, a former professional basketball player wed on Wednesday. She says the day is special because it marks the birthdays of both her late mother and her late son Michael Bryan.

Osmond says it was important for both relatives to be with her and her husband on their special day.

Bryan committed suicide last year.

Osmond wore the same Ret Turner wedding dress that she wore during her first ceremony with Craig.

The couple first married in 1982 but divorced three years later. They also have a 28-year-old son, Stephen.

Wow, all that critisizm of this wonderful woman just because she's a member of the LDS Church.
She has a right to her beliefs, you know.

My mother married and divorced her only husband twice. She always said the first split up was her fault, the second was his. She never elaborated though. She let me find out what my father was on my own. This really isn't as strange as some of you would make it.
Perhaps the loss of their son, made them realize what had made them fall in love in the first place, and brought them back to each other.
I'm happy for them, and so glad that Marie is surviving the suicide of her son. She is a wonderful lady and I hope they will indeed be together for all eternity.

she had to get "unsealed" from him in order to get married for time and eternity to her second husband, and then had to get unsealed from the 2nd husband to get her 3rd temple marriage.

I guess eternity isn't as long as you used to be.
