LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- Family members are struggling to remain optimistic knowing that Bryan Stow, the Giants fan who was brutally beaten while leaving a baseball game at Dodger Stadium, may never fully recover.

While a hospital spokesperson says Stow is being slowly weaned of the anti-seizures medication that he has been receiving since his violent brain injury, family members told KTLA that their son, husband, and father of two, may be gone forever.
