Following last month's location tracking and security issues with iOS, Android and Windows Phone and the huge Sony PlayStation Network breach, mobile privacy has been a hot topic in the news. The Senate judiciary committee hearing, "Protecting Mobile Privacy: Your Smartphones, Tablets, Cell Phones and Your Privacy,' began at 10 a.m. ET and is chaired by Senator Al Franken.
You can catch the hearing on C-SPAN or streaming now at the Judiciary Subcommittee page. Both Google and Apple representatives are expected to attend, and you'll find the hearing's full witness list here.
