Meghan McCain's 'Naked' Skin Cancer Prevention PSA (VIDEO)

Meghan McCain is helping to raise awareness of the dangers of skin cancer by taking part in a new public service announcement.

The newly-released "Naked" spot comes as part of a skin cancer prevention campaign from the Style Network. The writer and daughter of Arizona Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) is featured in the clip alongside recognizable faces such as Brandy, Tatyana Ali, who played Ashley Banks on "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" and Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga on "Boy Meets World."

The message conveyed in the PSA is clear and simple: "If you leave the house without sunscreen, you might as well be naked."

McCain took to Twitter on Tuesday to respond to media reaction generated by the ad.

"Pundits in DC can calm themselves. I filmed a skin cancer PSA in a strapless juicy tube dress. All you can see is my collar bone," she wrote. "Both my parents have had skin cancer, everyone should be aware of the extreme dangers the sun presents and how simply using sunscreen is ... a simple way to prevent skin cancer from occurring. I take it very seriously which is why I participated in the PSA."

I am a FAR right wing, TEA PARTY member, gun owning GOP, and think Meghan is UBBER HOTTT! I do not always agree with her policies but I love to watch her breath. Beck is correct on some issues but dead wrong on this one.

Glad to find someone on the political extremes who has retained the ability to be human. The problem exists on both ends of the political spectrum, I know because I'm the other end and I too fight to keep a grasp of rational moderation.

Ms McCain has the good fortune to have acquired attention of the public and is doing what she can to use it for good. Regardless of her politics I applaud her for that.

Beck is insane. first of all, Meghan McCain is a beautiful, curvy woman. I am staunchly on the left but have always had a crush on her! Didn't he learn from Rush's gaffe about Chelsea Clinton that this is never a good idea?

skin cancer is serious stuff, i lost half a nose to basal cell and had to plug the hole with skin graft from collar bone area. now the kids are playing with tanning booths. one very good looking co=worker was a tanner and as she aged the 10 years we worked together, the skin on her face turned into a catchers mit.

I'm glad Meaghan's not taken seriously by her own party, she's about the freshest face the republicans have, if she jumped into the race as the Terminally Blond candidate, she'd put them all to shame.
