Not worth anything. Syria does not have oil.

USA does this all the time. At least the Syrians are doing it within their own countries and unlike the USA in 5.

I do not get it:

Obama dropped a long time ally - Mubarak after "he lost legitimacy"
Obama bombed Lybya which was neutral to friendly to US. (after being pushed by France and UK)
Yet Obama is did nothing about Iran and now about Syria. Two counties whose government are clearly not friendly to US.

Why?

Why ? I

IRAN has nukes.

Syria has no oil.

Lesson : If you are a leader of an oil producing country, it might be worth looking into getting your country nuke enabled so the West will think twice (maybe more than twice) before waging a war on you...

The world's outrage was heard loudly.

Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon condemned the violence and called for "a full investigation to determine exactly how this bloodshed took place". He announced that a U.N. panel was to investigate.

The United Nations Human Rights Council passed a resolution by 32 votes to 3, with a number of abstentions, in which it condemned in the strongest terms the outrageous attack.

The Arab League called an emergency meeting to discuss what it called a "terrorist act".

The African Union condemned the action.

The Organization of American States said "Nothing can justify excessive use of military force to attack, with serious loss of human lives, to a disarmed civil convoy.

Four countries downgraded their diplomatic relations and/or withdrew ambassadors. Twelve Latin American countries condemned the actions. Twenty-one European countries condemned or protested the actions. Twelve non-Arab Asian countries condemned the actions.

Was this the world's reaction to Syria killing over 800 of its citizens for the "crimes" of peacefully protesting or attending funerals?

No, it was the reaction to Israel killing 9 people who were attacking its sailors.

What a world we live in.

I don't get it. Assad is killing thousands of Muslims. Why doesn't Al Queda wage jihad against them and leave the US alone?

Syria shells unarmed civilians.

No UN meetings, no Arab League meetings, no marches in London or demonstrations outside Syrian embassies in Europe, no BDS movement, and best of all, Syria is STILL on candidacy for the UN Human Rights Council.

To bad the Syrian people can stock up on goods and then strike the country into action not by murder but by attrition and the shutting down of the nation that attacks its people!
