He seems to read mostly popular spy/thriller fiction. That explains it. Someone should tell him that it isn't real. Also, only 6 of the 150 or so books he reviewed were by female authors. Again, maybe this means something too. I think you can learn a lot about a person by what he reads. Interesting essay.
