God, there are so many things WRONG with this blog post. The pictures labeled "Faulkner" are obviously not even of Faulkner.

so cool, thank you for sharing all wonderful photos....filled w/love for our beloved felines.
funny. i write songs and poetry. i have never been w/o a cat./lots of cats
even , in colllege.i had a rescue in the dorm .(forbidden.....everyone knew and loved her)
there is no love comparable to the love of a cat....
i have been involved w/ animal rescue , most of my life. ...i have rescued many a litter .
they can drive you absolutely out of your mind. (i have 12 now)
the kitty litter , the furballs ,the vomiting, the climbing, and kneading on anything wooden, the hanging on a curtain.....
god forbid, ....one might be a sprayer........( my booki).......
there is nothing like the love of your cat.

I had the very good luck to live with a cat for seventeen years. He was as black as the darkest night, a prince in a fur coat and the brightest philosopher I can think of. He left for another kingdom on April 23, 2010 and he still is a walker in my memory.

What a lovely little tribute to your friend. Beasley is 19 years and several months. We thought he was ready to depart to a perpetual spring day just a month ago, but he fooled us all and made a recovery. Each day is now precious.

May Beasley fool you for long and see another Spring.
Life without a cat is like a garden with no flowers.

Foucault had to have a cat. He certainly never petted any other kind of kitty...

Not a surprise that these writers could appreciate the graceful mysteries of the cat.

Barbara Pym and her kitties. Faustina was a reappearing character in her novels.
