For young adults in Baltimore who age out of foster care or find themselves bouncing from one place to another, there's finally a place they can call home.

Restoration Gardens, a new housing unit in the Baltimore area, has been designated specifically for young people 18-24 years old, CBS reports. The former school renovated into an apartment complex marks a new start for young people.

Luther Thompson, 22, has been homeless since he was 18 and says he's hopeful about his new beginning.

"It's a blessing for me because my family lineage shows nothing but struggle, but now I don't have to do that anymore."

Thompson says he'll use this opportunity to show other homeless youth the options they have.

Amazing, maybe they could also turn a few sizable rooms into an enormous learning center with some internet, wifi, materials, etc. for learning, books aren't needed, you can get e-book or use free internet resources.
