Shuttle Launch Captured From Airplane Window

Endeavour's final launch finally went off this morning despite a series of delays.

As STS-134 blasted off one lucky airline passenger got the chance of a lifetime to capture it on film. Stephanie Gordon managed to take a quick video and several photos of the shuttle bursting through the clouds and towards the outer atmosphere.

Among those in attendance at this morning's launch was Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords. Her husband, Mark Kelly, is the commander of Endeavour's final mission, which includes delivering a $2 billion particle physics experiment to the International Space Station.

This lift-off was the 25th and final for Endeavour, and the second-to-last shuttle launch ever.
