Hailee Steinfeld The New Face Of Miu Miu (PHOTOS)

Hailee Steinfeld is the new face of Miu Miu, The Daily Beast reports.

Stylist Karla Welch told reporter Isabel Wilkinson, "We formed a relationship with them at the SAG Awards. Miu Miu is such a perfect fit for her. Throughout awards season, they were the dresses she wanted to wear."

Indeed, after the 14-year-old "True Grit" actress stepped out in (Miu Miu's parent label) Prada to the Screen Actors Guild awards, she received endless praise. Vogue's Andre Leon Talley wrote that she looked, "spectacular in blazing Pop Art Prada stripes. What made it so right for the teenager was the just-out-of-bed tousled hair (the style of the evening) looking so natural on her, deft makeup, and no bling. She didn't try too hard."

Steinfeld donned Miu Miu looks to the Baftas and Berlin Film Festival and sat front row at the brand's autumn/winter 2011 show in Paris.

The Telegraph adds that previous faces of Miu Miu include Katie Holmes, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kirsten Dunst and Lindsay Lohan.

Steinfeld's campaign will break in August, at the earliest.

She looks very tasteful in all three outfits, they are perfectly suited for a 14 year old. There is absolutely nothing I would change and absolutely no reason why a 14 yr old should even be thinking about being a sexual icon. Haley don't let the rest of the pop tarts confuse you STAY ELEGANT!

I'm sure I am demonstrating my cultural ignorance in admitting that I don't know what Miu Miu is, but I would like to say I think this young lady is extraordinarily talented. Keep your head about you, Miss Steinfeld and you will go far. Don't be in too much of a hurry to grow up.

The fact that she's only fourteen really underscores the quality of her performance in True Grit. She played really well opposite Jeff Bridges.

Tasteful young woman who is not intent on looking older or baring skin. She looks great in that striped outfit - what a bold look. Not sure many could carry that off.
