Mel Gibson Gets Booed At Cannes (VIDEO)

Mel Gibson got a cool welcome at Cannes as he as he arrived for a photocall for 'The Beaver.'

Earlier this week at the movie's premiere - where funny enough he received a standing ovation - Mel told reporters how he got into character to play the suicidally depressed lead.

"I faked it," he said. "Hey, I don't know. It doesn't bear too much analysis."

He got booed because he accuses the Jewish religion for the reasons why in the beginning of humanity, when Jesus was trying to set an example of reincarnation, the Jewish people were in fact the ones who dragged him and hung him on a cross and nailed his wrists and ankles with nails so he wouldn't fall off. These were people, and they say Jesus was also a Jewish man, except he was trying to explain another idea about perhaps peace, and that people except his example of one - cannot come back and live forever unless they believe in a man who claimed he was the son of God, used as a mortal example of something that is immortal and infinite. Not influenced from matter. Matter + ...forget it, I am not going to rewrite the Bible. Read The Interpretations of The Scriptures By Mary Baker Eddy. Send it to Israel and maybe they won't look at Christianiy as something silly.

Wanna know what's silly....

There was a religion called Judaism, then one day a 32 year old man comes and says, hey you know the God you have been worshiping, well that's my father...actually it's me too. I have a miracle birth to prove it but you have to take the word of me and the people I have already convinced. Sure I'm 32 and have been living a normal life up to this point but I am the son of God...I mean, God. And what's more, if you continue to worship God, I mean me EXACTLY how you have been doing, well then you can no longer go to heaven. You see, I am changing the rules of this entire religion. You no longer just worship God, you must worship me and acknowledge I am God, and/or his son. And the only reason why my religion will grow and eventually be dominant is because I ruler sees the benefit of using it to unite and subjugate people. So in the end I win...I mean God wins.

Imagine if a 32 year old man came today and said he was God and Christian can no longer get to heaven unless they worship him.

von triers gets banned from Canne for unintelligble ramblings about Hitler,Jews,and World War II, & some woman I've never heard of..Gibson who has repeatedly expressed vile statements about jews,african americans,and women,and just pled guilty to domestic violence against an ex-partner while holding his infant, and gets booed and people feel sorry for him. what a world.

realized his mother an A student pretty much - still has a son who is also an A student now because his C -D average father ten years older than me and gone, like the wind, leaving us in vergus starvation without any varnacans, ....not really, yet lied saying he would always be there, had a serious major problem with hard alcohol and I am not Sister Mary Mother Saint of Saints. I had to decide eiother to stay heathy for my son and me, or I could have been a sappy wifge and both my sons parents would be in a moselium.
It's not fair to judge someone with a disease, This man isn't brave anymore, but he can be if he dreams to be. It is his own Mad Max journey, like all of us. We are at the end, alone. It is up to us to be alone now, or wait and make things better - even if it means writing an apology or talking in front of a camera where the world can hear you. Feeling sorry for yourself is not helping anyone, and you just stay alone. Nobody really I feel, wants to be alone

Okay. I feel that I can handle it, a little French red wine, but obviously I sound like a total dweeboid. You must see something I don't. I will try to stay sober, especially when I write, Hopefully while I live on earth for the rest of my life. I am sorry. I guess admitting you have a problem is better than denying it. School, just last Friday, sitting in the Vice Principles office and having a meeting with the guidence counselor of my son's award winning national school for Marching Band's, and after I only had to correct a few grammer mistakes from a repetitive confusion that were does not mean where in the sense of it coming from something, and quite the opposite, and I found myself in the office without preparing to acknowledge the semester my son played Ferris Beullers Day off like Groundhog Day with Bill Murray, he must be a lucky boy because they worst cast scenario was a lot bewtter with Mom (me) there, and despite the hair on my son's shaven face, and that he looks like Harry Potter, maybe a little chubbier since we are on the Dukan diet, .....I.

Thank God Mel is a scientologist I heard, when I lived on Clearwater Beach raising my son when his daddy was still alive, before 1997. My husband died of pserosis of the liver, and my little boy has been with out a daddy since four, and cannot remember anything. In fact he blames me for his memory loss as a childhood analogy. I find it very difficult to raise a 17 year old in the Florida school system, and even though I have a back up plan with Penn Foster High ...tbc

They think he is an antisemitist, -my mother says..and his career is done. Personally I was in AA meetings with him when I was in Greenwich Hospital years ago, and no one acknowledged him in a bad way. Funny how society frowns on an alcoholic. There isn't a minute this kind of guy doesn't feel like drinking or splurging. He is trying. We all get a little outside ourselves when we drink the enemy, ( alcohol). My dad says lcohol is the enemy. He said this after 50 years. He told my sister the secret of getting old is learning how to calm down and yet, oast summer, he still has a way of showing a dark side from his scotch and 5PM water drink he had to have in his workshop, and the fact that my mother was his target verbally, couldn't sink in that words can be as harsh a crime as a physical blow to ones head or body. We are human, and brains are also capable of irreperable repair when abused wrongly by a bully man, who thinks less of anyone except himself. God forgives, but Mel, is the only one in his personal life who can make him hurt more than any of you try.

Ah, farewel,l Career of Mel Gibson. How disgraceful must one be to be booed at Cannes, for god's sake? So, Mel entered a plea of "no contest" - interesting. Wikipedia, is always useful, though oft dismissed by those not wishing to be shown to be in error -

"A nolo contendere plea has the same immediate effects as a plea of guilty, but may have different residual effects or consequences in future actions. For instance, a conviction arising from a nolo contendere plea is subject to any and all penalties, fines, and forfeitures of a conviction from a guilty plea in the same case, and can be considered as an aggravating factor in future criminal actions."

Quite different from a plea of "not guilty".

NEWS FLASH !

Oksana retracted her allegations in family court a few weeks ago, no press coverage.

Did you know she NEVER called the police, the family court judge, according to procedure, filed a report with the police (6 months later) as the allegations were presented in his courtroom during a child support increase hearing.

After a 9 month investigation the detective recommended Oksana be charged with extortion and Gibson not charged. The DA allowed him to plead no contest, which equals no admission of guilt.

But, THAT doesn't sell tabloids.
