Rihanna, Britney Spears At Billboard Awards: Sing 'S&M,' Go Pantless

Rihanna may have taken a lot of hardware away from the stage on Sunday night, but it was what she didn't bring up in front of a national audience at the Billboard Awards that's making headlines.

Namely, pants.

Rihanna, who took three awards home on the night, rocked "S&M" in a spandex, pantless number, adorned with handcuffs and chains, just as her song describes -- hey, she says they excite her. Writhing around on stage, she gave the fans in the building and at home more than a thrill. And that was before a certain guest came on the stage.

Britney Spears, who teamed up Rihanna recently for a remix of the club hit, took the stage in a mask and black version of Rihanna's skimpy attire, and the two traded verses while making use of the conveniently arranged set.

I guess I'm just old school whereas I think this is just promoting sex and being top billboard reaches the youth in our country. Not a good example for growing minds. But what the heck, my kids are grown and I don't have to deal with it. Sad for all those who wind up with pregnant teens.

Britney was sooooooooooo stiff and walked like she had to pee. Rihanna gyrates because , like Britney, she can't sing. Beyonce showed all of them how it's done. BTW, Britney wasn't even singing, her lip sync was off.

And Joss is a different TYPE of artist. When I want to hear good singing I'll listen to her. When I want POP music to bop my head to, Rihanna and Britney fit the bill. There's room for all of them.

I feel sorry for Britney. She looks like she is completely drugged up and forced to do this.

It's like her handlers wind her up and send her onstage like a robot.

Her songs are terrible and she's not performing....just going through the motions.

If she really wants to be out there - that's one thing. But maybe she just wants to be home with her kids and chill -- or do something else entirely.

It just goes to show some people will buy anything

Britney has been working and performing for most of her life. Just maybe.....she would love to stay home, raise her children and live a normal life! It seems as though she has a wonderful boyfriend who has been there for her and who would support her with any endeavor she may choose. I think people should allow her to do just that! That is the path her sister has chosen- she even said that her dream was to be a good mom and couldn't wait to raise her children in a small town, live a simple life and focus on being the best soccer mom ever. Nothing wrong with that! Good for her! They all have the finacial means to do that! I say go for it Brit! : ) She has had enough pressure in her young life!
