Victoria Beckham stepped out to the unveiling of Simon Fuller's Hollywood Walk of Fame star on Monday with her son, Brooklyn, wearing one of her own dresses and platform-stiletto Louboutins.

The seven-months-pregnant designer hid -- or tried to hide -- her baby bump behind her handbag. Where's the bulky Birkin when you need it?

I don't know, sometimes pregnant women can feel a bit vulnerable and self-conscious, so she might just be holding the bag in front because it makes her feel a bit safer. Victoria has made no secret over the years of her tendency toward insecurity. That said, a smile couldn't hurt once in a while, could it?

I do think it's a bit weird the way she is holding the bag, but agree with other comments that it is not necessarily to hide the bump. Actually a few weeks ago I read something, somewhere (can't recall where) commenting on the strange way models were holding bags and the pics were very much like this - so maybe it's a new trend!!
