Never understood why we aren't just labeling everything. There s also no difference between Tylenol and acetaminophin but they are clearly LABELED so I know which one I'm buying.

No more Boca for me. Not that I eat it much any longer. When in transition from flesh eater to veggie person, I ate more of these. But now I don't even like them much and they're so corporate and overpackaged anyway. If we just shun the corporate, chemical laden, manipualted, environmentally damaging over packaged 'food'....we'd ALL be so much healthier, happier and wealthier. I know, I know. But it's expensive! No. It. Is. Not. My breakfast cost me less than 50 cents and I had a monster bowl of (all organic) oatmeal, apple, strawberries and hazelnuts. Lunch is also less than 50 cents. A brown rice tortilla with roasted almond butter and heaps of fresh broccoli sprouts that I grow myself in a jar. Of course, I may snack on some popcorn or something, there's another 5 cents. Dinner last night: Less than one dollar and TOTALLY yummy. Rustic ww sourdough with my homemade french lentils, raab, garlic and walnuts. Eating healthy is so cheap, you actually have to TRY though. That's the key.

Farmer's markets and your local co-operative grocery. I trust EVERYTHING at my local co-op because every single thing in there is thoroughly evaluated for known toxins, corn syrup, gmo's, most chemicals, environmental and animal and human ethics. Far less packaging, far better quality, far more bulk items to refill your containers and avoid MORE packaging. You want real, go the c-op route. Cheers!

Boca Burger is owned by Phillip Morris, or was the last time I checked. Consumers have the power to put an end to this, but only if they are willing to invest the time and energy into educating themselves about their food choices and the companies that make them.

I'm finding more boxes of food GMO free. How about these producers just do the right thing?

This is a subject I have long been interested in. The mainstream media doesn't cover it and most of what is done with GM foods is done in secret. Some of the largest companies like Dow amd Monsanto and other are trying to take control of the global food supply without any value dded. The money behind this is so large that Congress and the regulators who should be protecting us turn blind eye. GM food is not a good thing, it benefits a handful of elite companies, and may have serious consequences to the masses.

I agree completely. And the fact that they found pesticides in the umbilical cords shows that the GM foods will be doing a lot more harm than what Big Brother wants us to believe.

And it's only money that keeps them from labeling these products, because it's not hard to imagine how consumers would make purchase decisions if they knew.
