This article only alludes to the non-economic costs which, I believe, far outweigh dollars and cents (or Euros etc.).

And I'm not sure I agree with the notion that Bill Clinton's dalliances left him relatively unscathed.

A far more interesting analysis could be made about the psyche of powerful men who believe that being a sexual predator is acceptable and/or inconsequential, while being blindly oblivious to the destructive and self-destructive nature of their conduct. Or that of the women who consent (not DSK's hotel staff prey) to servicing these men, thinking that fame, power or a glamorous lifestyle will accompany/follow their sexual acts.
