That was actually a rather refreshing list. I hadn't heard of or seen most of these. Closest I've come to anything like this was walking the Golden Gate Bridge, at which I couldn't even get near the railing.

Capilano Suspension Bridge is cool, but a little tame compared to some of these. If you're going to throw in natural bridges, why not include Tonto Natural Bridge in AZ or any of the natural bridges in Natural Bridges National Monument or Rainbow Natural Bridge? The Bryce photo is lame by comparison.

The Royal Gorge bridge is pretty spiffy, but the fact is it doesn't serve any function, other than to attract tourists. No one would ever use it to actually get from one place to another.

Yes, and if you cross it, you have no choice but to go back the way you came! I did it once as a kid, and probably looked over the side and down through the cracks. Did it again last year, but went to the river bottom first and looked up (mistake!) I crossed the bridge to meet my daughter, who rode over on the tram, which I would only ride for a large amount of cash. I didn't look left, right, or down, not once! It's a pretty area if you're standing safely on one side or the other, though.
