Classic planes are flew into Farmingdale, New York's Republic Airport as part of Fleet Week, allowing veterans and onlookers to get a glimpse of these historic machines. From biplanes to stunning fighter jets, this air show encompasses years of aviation history while honoring the pilots who manned the craft during times of war.

The video below gives a great look at the planes and the veterans who once flew them.
