A work trip for two men on Wednesday afternoon didn't go as planned when the tornado in Springfield, Massachusetts crossed Interstate 91, leaving a trail of debris and the two stunned bystanders at a loss for words.

The description for the video calls this the "worst work trip ever," and, judging by the video, they might not be that far off.

"That was an adrenaline rush, man," one of the men says nervously when it's all over.

Watch the video below and let us know what you think. Warning -- video contains explicit language.

At least four people died in tornadoes in Massachusetts on Wednesday.

nice video.

Their reaction was so raw and realistic it was as if I was there with them as this is exactly how I would have reacted and what I would most likely have been saying. They dogged a bullet big time. Unreal.

If you watch youtube video under Brimfield Tornado, One Stop, talk about real reaction....you can feel the man's joy. I was also fortunate enough to have weathered this tornado. I did start to tape it but when the storm got close, I made the choice of running into the basement and forgot to leave the video camera outside taping....

I live in one of the towns east of Springfield that it went through. It hit about a mile, as the crow flies, from my house. Most of the streets are closed down. Houses that I drive past everyday are completely destroyed. We are a small town, so the chances are very great that I know many people who lost their homes. We are still in shock from this.

I am so sorry. I lived north of that area many years ago, and I remember it, and the people there, with great affection.

Hmmm, the caption warns of "explicit language" ... but that was actually rather general, all-purpose language. ;)

Hey, I have never cursed, but if I were stopped on the highway by an approaching tornado, I might learn to.

I think these guys were totally cool in a very frightening situation.

I am sorry my friend....get used to the site, it is going to be there for MONTHS if not years...Drove to my friend's house today out in Harvest, Alabama......still a pile of mess and the smell of burned pine burns your nose, 1mo later. Just be kind, because this kind of clean up will take quite longer than you imagine. Glad to see you are alive after being that close... whew!

I grew up in Springfield. The city is devastated. My mother still lives there. The tornado hit about two blocks from her home (amongst many other places it touched down).60,000 people are without power. Most streets are impassable. The shock has not hit them yet as to the total destruction this tornado has caused.
Although I live an hour away from there now I am still having a difficult time dealing with all of it. My heart went out to the people in Joplin after their tornado, but until now, I never really understood the feelings one could have when something like this happens.
I am driving there on Saturday, hoping to be able to get to my mothers' house (she is ok). If I can help them in any way I will.
Please keep them in your thoughts, and feel lucky that it was not in your town/city.
Please be sensitive when you decide to post a comment. Some day, it could be your hometown.
My thoughts and prayers are with my family, friends, and all the people in the neighborhoods of South End, 16 Acres, Island Pond Road area, Plumtree Road area, Allen Street area,Forest Park area, and although I don't have family in these areas but they were also devastated, (especially) Munson, Brimfield, and Sturbridge. Stay strong all of you, help is pouring in.
My tears will stop I'm sure, but it will take a much longer time to rebuild all that has been lost.

Glad your mom is OK.

My hometown was destroyed twice by tornadoes. Once before I was born and once when I was two. The three story house next door became a two-story one in seconds. Kids were killed at school. I grew up seeing the memorial plaques in the hallways every day in every school I went to.

There were quite a few tornadoes after those, some that killed people, one that destroyed my parents' porch and living room, but none that totally destroyed the town and killed hundreds like those two did.

I'm in Worcester and even though we didn't get hit there were certainly a few tense moments. Like you, my thoughts go out to those in Springfield, Sturbridge and Brimfield.

Wow! You're syuck in the middle of traffic, and a tornado is coming right at ya! Worse, it's not even Tornado Alley, so, you're not prepared. What do you do? RUN FOR COVER!

I don't know what was more impressive, the video or the command of the English language articulated by the dudes.

There is only one "Dude", dude, and that is, "The Dude, Leiblowski". And by the way, that rug tied the whole room together, Dude.

Dude can be used in a myriad of ways and they did. One "Dude" is worth a thousand words.

I live maybe 15 miles from where that hit. When I saw it, it freaked me out! Too close for comfort. I knew by watching the video, exactly where they were, driven that area many times..

Although rare, Massachusetts has a history of tornadoes, including a violent one that struck Worcester in 1953, killing 94.

Yes, a history but they are not commonplace. Lets wait and see what happens with this over the next few years.

Interestingly enough, Massachusetts has the most deaths by tornado per capita per sqaure mile than any other state in the union.

It's funny how there are so many comments criticizing the foul language and the use of the word "dude" on this video.

Put yourself in their shoes for a minute. A tornado is bearing down on you... you're stuck in traffic and have few options. Considering the situation, I think they handled themselves about as well as anyone could expect.
