Diane Sawyer And Bill O'Reilly Spar About Campaign Coverage (VIDEO)

Diane Sawyer

Diane Sawyer appeared on Wednesday's "O'Reilly Factor" to talk about ABC's political coverage--and to assure Bill O'Reilly that it would be scrupulously fair and balanced during the 2012 campaign.

O'Reilly touted a study that said that the media's coverage of the 2008 presidential campaign was tilted in favor of Barack Obama.

"You, DIane Sawyer, are going to be held accountable for how your news operation treats both candidates," he said.

"We are really proud of our team and what we're going to do," she said, reeling off the names of some of the ABC News team as evidence for the division's professionalism.

"But they're all liberal people in real life," O'Reilly said. "You know that."

"I do not know that," Sawyer said. She stressed that ABC had covered the Tea Party extensively, and was thinking of devoting more resources to airing "both sides" of major issues. O'Reilly seemed skeptical, saying he was "concerned as an American" that the networks were not being fair.

"Look at what we do," Sawyer replied. "Look at what we do."

Fox assumed that their viewers find them 100% fair and balanced so they felt no need to include themselves.

Wow...the FACTS he puts up ahead of that interview...truly amazing the liberal media. Need one small cable network to actually point that out to people as no other station will. hahahaha.

Fox is the most biased network in the country. They are disgusting, for trying to pin that on other networks.

They are bullies, and bigots at Fox.

True, Fox is the most biased but it isn't the only one seriously biased.

I guess that that's the reason they beat all other news networks in the ratings.Keep watching Msnbc and Cnn for you news you know the channels that combined have less viewers than the cartoon network.

This is how far right Fox News has become, they question a former Nixon aide on how liberal her team is.

Fox wants all other networks to be as bigoted and bullying as they are. They don't like to hear good news reported about what President Obama has achieved. They want other networks to bash him like they do.

For conservatives, anything information that doesn't match their concept of the world is automatically the product of "liberal bias". There is no interest in truth or reality just their increasingly narrow view of what they think the world should be. The Cult of Conservatism if you will, with the likes of Palin, Beck, Bachmann, Limbaugh as their high priests.

Sawyer let O'Rielly get away with quoting comparisons without showing Fox's results? That was pitiful. She got walked on. I would have expected Sawyer to at least hold her on. She got bad used.

But, it's just another example of the duplicity and hypocracy that is Fox Spews.
