Lea T. Struts In Swimwear For Fashion Rio (PHOTOS)

Lea T., transsexual model and industry darling, hit Brazil's Fashion Rio runway on Wednesday, strutting in several swimsuits for one of the country's top beachwear brands, Blue Man.

Her turn on the catwalk came a few days after Lea T. was spotted on the beach in Ipanema shooting the label's latest ad campaign, marking the first swimwear contract for the stunner. Terry Richardson snapped the pics, which also included a male kiss, according to passersby.

I think she's amazing and brave. Being Transgendered is like the ultimate Body Image crisis. To feel one way in your mind- no more accurately to be of one gender in your mind and yet to occupy the contrasting gender in one's body must be emotionally, physically, and spiritually painful. The "Big Shots" "full-page" slideshow is just another scam. The photos of the model are only the same size as the advertisement and take up less than half the page. Anything but full-page and the junk around them clutters half the page.

Reminds me of boxed cereal, canned coffee, bagged chips and all the other down-sized offerings that falsely advertise themselves or shrink as their prices soar.

More power to her - I think it's fantastic that she's comfortable in her own skin...or at least more so now than she obviously used to be. Though, I think "stunning" is a bit of a stretch. She looks good, but not stunning. I still see shades of her former self and imagine that in real life, they are even more evident. All that said, I wish her all the best...glad she has found a positive place for herself.

pronounced eyebrows, elevated nose ridge, huge mandibles, cut-up trapezius, strong supportive feet, and no signs of cellulite anywhere on lea!
lea is projecting masculinity in a general feminine shape, my brain triggers a lot of mixed signals when looking at lea's pictures.
