With a win, Djokovic would extend his winning streak to 44 matches, tying John McEnroe for the best start to a season (42-0).
The winner would face "King of Clay" Rafael Nadal in the final. Nadal, who has been in six of the last seven French Open finals, defeated Andy Murray in the earlier semifinal.

Back and forth so far.
Djokovic holds on and we're headed to a tiebreak. The overall score is 7-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-6 with advantage Federer.
Djokovic will serve to stay alive in the match.

|@ ZiadM : Federer vs Djokovic game is on of the best tennis matches i have seen in years #RolandGarros|
Amazing. After Djokovic fought through five deuces and won a key game on Federer's serve, Federer comes right back and breaks Djokovic. It's 5-5 in the 4th set.
The Wall Street Journal notes, "It's 9 p.m. local time. Men still playing tennis. Sun still going down. Which one finishes first?"
Sums it up nicely.
|@ kevinmccauley : If you're not watching Djokovic-Federer for some reason other than the fact that you would get fired, what is wrong with you?|
