Texas has no objection to having a police state of the majority.

Hilarious.

I am SO glad I don't live in Texas.
I wish they would hurry up and secede already. They keep teasing the rest of the nation with that awesome possibility.

OK,lets get past making this a racial issue.I have seen all nationalities walking with sagging pants.I don't care to see what type of boxers are being worn by them either but instead of using this forum as an AVENUE to voice your racist attitudes, why don;t we use it to work together and come up with solutions to the issues and problems .

lol. hilarious. Yes, belts would solve that problem. However distasteful, no one has the right to silence someone else's freedom of speech and self expression. As usual, Texas - being inbred as it is - always urinates on civil liberties. Its the Republican pathogens in government I'll tell ya.

Why racial.? Most offense is from white boys. Even so why do anything that happens have to be racist. Is it send money.?

In my generation, young people wore very tight pants and the old folks complained. Now, the young generation is wearing baggy pants and the old folks are complaining. It seems like the old folks will always find something to complain about when it comes to clothing. It's an age-old dual.

I'm all against showing your underwear like many do, but this is too far. Are we going to have a law against tank tops because they show too much skin? How about bad fashions? Wearing socks with sandals looks tacky, but there's no law for that. How about wearing bright colors? The government needs to lay off of this. Also, what about the poor guy who can't afford proper pants, so the only pants they CAN get are bigger than what they are meant to have? There are those who are like that. I'm not trying to make excuses, but this is reality and these laws are starting to be too restrictive. Where do we draw the line?

This has nothing to do with baggy pants it has to do with them falling off and showing underwear. I have seen them pulled down so far that the waist was below the butt cheeks, being poor and not being able to afford pants that fit is one thing but pulling them down on purpose is something else. When I was young you would see someone in clothes way to big you knew they was poor and wearing hand me downs from an older sibling are parent but they had them pulled up so they did was not falling off

What happened to "Get government off our backs, government is too intrusive"? Now the government tells citizens how to dress? Or is it OK for the government to do that to someone else, but not to them?

i can't believe we need laws to make people pull up their pants. i guess we'll need laws to tell women they need to wear bras in public and they won't be allowed on the subway until they show or prove they are wearing a bra.

what is this country coming to, if a person want's to wear their pants around their ankles so what this doesn't sit well with me at all especially if the T is receiving public dollars.

The whole saggy pants thing is hysterical. People wanted to look gangster and adopted the look from the prison system. What they don't realize is that the prisoners were submitting their sexual position as bottom in order to keep from being raped or assaulted. In prison saggy pants means you can take it if you don't beat me up. So whenever I see someone with saggy pants I just laugh, they don't know the message they are sending, they are trying to be gangster.

I thought it was because they didn't have belts.

I agree that this is in the right step forward but....I believe we should go further and have standard ethics taught in public schools as a basic like math, reading and english.

LOL you can not do that anymore that is called teaching and MOST teachers do not know how to do this. They want the kids on drugs (ritalin, and such ) so they have zombies in the class room. Go back to basics if the kid acts out whip his are her butt, it will only hurt for a minute.
