Yemen's Vice President Reportedly Takes Over As Acting President

DUBAI (Reuters) - Yemen's Vice President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has taken over as acting president and supreme commander of the armed forces, Al Jazeera said Saturday after the country's president suffered injuries in a rocket attack.

Al Jazeera cited unspecified sources. Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh was expected to arrive in Saudi Arabia for treatment for wounds he suffered during an attack on the presidential palace Friday.
