Boy some people here really lack a sense of humor.
I was thinking Micheal Bolton. Great Whites really put on the tough show, but love adult contemporary.

I imagine that DC probably makes them less agitated.

Here is what I know, once you set foot in the ocean you go from number 1 in the food chain to about 20th. Have a nice day.

You'd think they would like Great White's version of "Once Bitten, Twice Shy".

Clearly this Aussie has stumbled upon an evolutionary echo from distant times. While the Ancient Druids knew that Great Whites rock out to AC/DC, but they also know that Tiger sharks like to feast to the tunes of Foreigner and Mako’s love Boston. Every scientist knows that sharks are the ultimate evolutionary completion of great rock bands from earlier times. Great Whites are merely the result of eons of transformation from a Great Rock band on land to the Rock’in Rulers of the sea. Woe to the unsuspecting researcher who plays the Stone’s “Sympathy for the Devil” in an underwater setting. Megalodon awaits in his sleepy slumber to be awakened by uncontrollable forces to once again rule the world!

Woe, indeed, to the unwary player of 'Sympathy' in such a setting.

AOL is back from the grave to test the limits of modern journalism.

This story is indicative of why newspapers are gone and hopefully not coming back

It's under "weird news"!!! Do you have no sense of humor at all? Go back and read about politics and the latest disaster. Too much serious stuff and I will get wrinkles!

I do enjoy the lighter side of news, I just finished a great story on the HuffPo about a dad who waved goodbye to his 16 year old son each and every day for 180 days as he got on the bus in a different costume and embarrassed the boy until everyone on the bus started looking forward every day to what dad would be wearing. Great stuff! But this was so badly done, I wanted to see the sharks loving the music...it was a real letdown. I'm going to re-read the dad story again!

I am not so surprised by shark being attracted to certain kind of music , it's all in the vibrations.
I used a pocket comb at a local area Zoo to attract the dolphins in a underwater tank.
i place the comb directly onthe glass enclosure i simply run my thumb onthe small tines and they'd all converge toward the sound that imitates theirs, to the amazement of all other spectators.
it works like a charm.

Yeah, sharks look at just about everything with a "I'd eat that" look.

I'm thinking they aren't as fond of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCRE9qOgbug but I could be wrong.

Makes sense for a great white to like something that has been bleeding to death for years. A great white isn't about to go after something that rocks before it goes for something thats been dead on the rocks for so many years.

Hopefully it wouldn't last that long. It does not look like fun.

Thank goodness it's the Australian's tax money being used on such a strange experiment. Usually it's our tax money. Please don't let this lead to similar funding from our congress. They waste enough already.
