I actually wasn't that impressed with Ann Brashares's My Name is Memory; it fell a little short. I did love Sarah Addison Allen's new book, The Peach Keeper.

The Nashville Musician's Survival Guide - a terrific read, not just for musician's but for any one who enjoys music and would like a "peek behind the curtain" of the music industry. It includes stories of touring with country artists and exclusive in-depth interviews with artists, writers, musicians, record execs, and more.

Try "Solar" by Ian McEwan. Side splitting besides brilliantly written.

It's exciting to see Justin Torres's WE THE ANIMALS on here. I read it last week and reviewed it on my site. Despite the fact that it's short and somewhat clipped, I really enjoyed it.

I'm reading Steve Earle's novel, "I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive" right now. Looking forward to the new Forster biography, and the one about the abandoned orphanage looks interesting.

Really? Because President Obama seems to be woefully out of his depth when it comes to the economy.

It seems you need to read Sowell, the old propagandist airbag.

I've read Mr. Sowell as well as Walter E. Williams PhD. Maybe you should give them a try.
