PHOTOS: Surfing Dogs Learn New Tricks At Loews Coronado Bay 2011

Give these pups a board and a wave and they can surf with the big dogs.

More than 50 dogs took part in this year's 6th annual Loews Coronado Bay resort surf dog competition in Imperial Beach, near San Diego on June 4, 2011.

The pooches had 10 minutes each to show their surfing skills in the charity event for DonorsChoose.org -- a group that connects would-be donors with classrooms that need funding for projects.
