Apparently this species has already established a breeding population in the Florida Keys. The Florida fruit growers are understandably very nervous.

Ben the 2 of us need look no more,your so big you're hunting us for sure, if they ever set a trap, I hope you get in that, because in my opinion, man's SUPPOSED to have dominion.

If that problem there, somehow gets out of hand & spreads to the rest of the world, it should be reacted to as a willful act of war. We don't see many dogs & cats stowing away on boats & accidentally making it to the US.

It's a real species, and although they are usually docile (and are even made into pets), there have been cases where they have attacked humans living in cramped conditions.

That indeed is big rat. Kind of new specie? Genetically engineered ? - I won't be surprised!..
If that thing migrate (Illegally?) multiply and fill the sewage systems in major cities in S. Africa and abroad, Human Kind WILL face indeed a very serious problem !
