Tim Tebow Appears On 'O'Reilly Factor' With Bill O'Reilly To Promote His New Autobiography (VIDEO)

Tebow On Oreilly

Denver Broncos' quarterback Tim Tebow appeared on the "O'Reilly Factor" recently speaking about football, his faith and to promote his new autobiographical book, "Through My Eyes."

Tebow spoke about how his more straitlaced lifestyle does not keep him from bonding with his team. Tebow says to Bill O'Reilly that his teammates "have a respect for me, for how I play. And then that respect turns to like. And then that like turns to love. And then they'll play for you if you walk the walk, then when you say something, it's going to mean so much more."

O'Reilly asked if Tebow ever gets offended by his teammates that have different beliefs than his and Tebow said it was very rare. "I'm not perfect either, that's the great thing about the Christian life is you are trying to get better every day," Tebow says. "You have to realize you are going to mess up, that's what I'm all about, not trying to act like I do everything right because I'm going to screw up. But, I'm going to try to do better the next day."

O'Reilly presses Tebow about the controversial Focus On The Family pro-life television commercial he did with his mother Pam. Tebow says about the commercial, "It wasn’t judging anyone, it was just celebrating my mom’s decision, her special story."

Don't you think we should wait until we see how Tebow's NFL career plays-out before we decided whether or not he should have been aborted?

I have given up on the Broncos.

They used to be my team but no longer.

Orten is a fine QB and the losses were not the offenses fault. It was no defense.

Wow.......so what you're saying is that you are a fair weather fan right? The world is filled with them and I despise them all. Sack up Nancy and be a fan...........you don't quit your team.

Yeah, two national championships in college, a Heisman Trophy and a first-round NFL draft pick.

Pretty slim football credentials.

It's rather odd that Tebow felt the need to inform O'Reilly that he isn't perfect.

He already stated he was a 'christian.'

The follow-up statement that he is less than perfect is rather redundant.

He's not even a starting qb. He's on a team whose coach that drafted him was fired. The Broncos will trade him if asked.

He was on TDS last week. Say what you will about his wearing his religion on his sleeve, or face, as the case may be, but he seems to be one nice guy.

Aparently to some, simply HOLDING a belief is offensive. Of course, TSRVT did read the article since he posted on it. Maybe he felt he was forced to read it.

===============
Have you ever heard of Focus on the Family? How about the "Personhood" laws that are being pushed by people with the same beliefs as Tebow??? How about cutting the funds of Planned Parenthood? How about all the laws being passed to make it harder to get abortions?

Thin book I assume.

I just don't think much of people who think so much of themselves. They bother me.

Why is this guy beng shoved in our faces so much ? Other than being a quarterback and that's surely no big deal, He's on the tv talking about what a HUGE role model he is. Really ?
I think he's another Sarah Palin, but with-out quitting, yet.
02:19 PM on 06/09/2011
You read this article and decided to comment on it, so apparently you do like reading about him. Yes, he's only a quarterback, which is no big deal, but we give the podium to a lot of athletes, some not as successful as him, so I'm not sure what the big deal is.
04:06 PM on 06/09/2011
Yes they give him and others a podium, but I'm getting tired of so many with so little to really say.
