Laetitia Casta, 'Diva Forever,' Covers French Glamour (PHOTO, POLL)

33-year-old French supermodel Laetitia Casta covers the country's July issue of Glamour in a laced-up white minidress and black belt, necktie and soutien-gorge.

Aside from our general merriment about the return of fashion faces over 15 years old to the glossies, there's something about this photograph that is overwhelmingly awesome. Or, as they apparently say en français, "diva forever!"

The Bible picture next to your name says it all. Women dress like this on the streets of Europe as normal everyday fashion - many look a LOT better than her, too. They don't get raped. Guess why? Here's a real head-scratcher for someone like you. LOL

As I visualize her taking a seat, say at a cafe or in a resataurant, I also imagine that the dress, short as it is will ride up sufficiently to expose an amount of derrierre equal to the amount of bosom already displayed. Sexually provocative? Yes. "Sexy"? IMO, no.

I kind of think it's awesome that models are making a comeback, but I grew up in the 80's and every magazine cover was Claudia, Christy, Cindy, Linda or Naomi. I find the actress/magazine thing a little annoying. The models back then were a little more magnetic, though. They seemed to be more than just hangars with sour expressions and hollow eyes.
