WASHINGTON -- The Washington Times has announced Ed Kelley as its new editor.
Kelley will oversee the newspaper's news coverage and opinion content. The 58-year-old Kelley comes to The Times from The Oklahoman, where he has worked since 1975 -- most recently as editor. In 1996, the National Press Foundation named him editor of the year for overseeing coverage of the deadly bombing at Oklahoma City's Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.
