Anthony Weiner Lewd Photos: Will Huma Abedin Stay With Him Because She's Pregnant?

Huma Abedins Pregnancy

healthland.time.com:

Pregnant and probably feeling nauseated even before her husband hit the headlines, Huma Abedin finds herself in the kind of quandary right now that requires strategic thinking of the type she probably usually reserves for her work at the State Department: Should she stay or go?

Abedin, who's elected not to go by the name Mrs. Weiner, recently discovered that her husband, New York Congressman Anthony Weiner, is not exactly the kind of guy she thought he was. (We're assuming, for the sake of argument, she didn't intend to marry a guy who sends unsolicited photos of his junk to women who note his attractiveness on Twitter.)

The whole marriage is a sham set-up. Huma is not a victim, anymore than Hillary was. Humas' mother moved to Kalamazoo Michigan just long enough to give birth to her. Got the citizenship, got the passport, back to Saudi Arabia by the time Huma turned two. Humas' mother is an important figure in the Muslim Sisterhood. Which is the female appendage to the Muslim Brotherhood. She teaches in a country where it is unusual, for women to hold an Academic position, even drive a car. So she has important friends and connections..Humas flies back to U.S. when she is 18 years old, and somehow, like Obama and Harvard, gets a degree at Brown's in just two years. At this point, Huma, a 20 year old muslim girl, with no qualifications but her exceptional beauty, is tapped by Hillary Clinton and (eventually) becomes the top Aide to the Secretary of State,. Privy to U.S. defense secrets, that she can be reported to her mother, who reports to to the Muslim Brotherhood..Meanwhile Huma and Hillary live trotting the globe like a couple of love birds. No, HUMA went after Weiner, got him to marry her, because she needed this as part of the smoke screen.....Weiner has served his purposes. It's quite apparent to me or anyone who looks into this, that Huma is the unfaithful spouse, not Weiner, and Hillary is the sexual predator. Putting our security at risk for her sexual infatuations.

Huma grew up in and lived in Saudi Arabia until she attended college in the US. I say this to point out that she was raised in a culture where men were deferred to more than is the case in the US. She may also take very seriously her marriage vows which may have included the phrase for better or worse. This scandal is probably a lot worse than she thought she would have to deal with so early in her marriage, but it's important to keep it in perspective. What her husband did was wrong and disrespectful. But he didn't cheat in the common view of the term. Also, no one died. Those are the true tragedies in life.

If she truly loves him, she will probably find a way to forgive him. If he gets help and can reform his ways, he can become a better husband and soon father. It would be a shame if Huma's family were broken up just as it's starting.

Huma is a fine, accomplished woman, she would do very well raising the child as a single mother and still not be alone.
Mr. Weiner can have visitation rights.

Who knows if she will stick around other than her?

If I was Weiner's wife of less than a year, I would divorce this man who can lie so easily to me, unjustly blame private citizens for his own actions and have explicit intimate sexual conversations with other women. Weiner's character flaws couldn't be overlooked by me.

Here's the thing. Hillary didn't leave Bill because of his "infidelities". But was he unfaithful? Here's why I ask...

Is it cheating if it is understood. Bill is obviously very passionate about life. I am sure, in hindsight, that includes his passion for women. I am also sure his wife, Hillary, knows his passion, his schedule, her schedule and their physical distance from each other. So, I am guessing that they have an "open marriage". Now, Hillary may not have the same passion for "hanky panky", or she may, who knows, but I am sure she wasn't niave regarding hubby's "lifestyle".

She probably loved him for that exact passion, and why not?

Long distance relationships require alternative solutions to intimacy.

Just an alternative viewpoint to public life constraints. Although I don't really get the whole twitter B S.

The Clintons weren't living a long distance marriage. She was right there in the White House and accompanying him on his travels.

I find it disgusting that the media is using this woman to boost their sales and ratings during this not-so-important "scandal"

When Vitter was caught out there was two days of small articles and the entire matter got downplayed. Now that the "offender" is Weiner, who is well known for pointing out the corruption in the Supreme Court and threatening the insurance lobby by doing such, the snakes can't seem to get enough salacious and irrelevant data out there. Its part of a bigger mud slinging and character assassination campaign and is making me question the "pride" in being American.

The longer scandal-ridden Weiner insists on staying in the news, the more of a danger he becomes both to the Democrats, because he is keeping them off-message, and to the reputation of his pregnant wife, Huma Abedin. Up until now, the public had given her their sympathy. But the longer her husband refuses to resign his position, the more the details about his life, cast shadows on hers. For instance, yesterday, political commentator Juan Cole reported that Anthony Weiner is not merely a supporter of Israel, but a radical Zionist. The disgraced congressman has attacked the New York Times for being anti-Israel and tried to bar the Palestinian delegation to the United Nations from entering New York City. Does Huma, a Muslim woman, whose parents come from India and Pakistan, share the same views as her husband? If she is apolitical, how then has she remained a top aide to one of the most politically ambitious women in the country, Hilary Clinton? In addition, rumors about Hilary's sexual preferences, which were dismissed as a smear campaign during the presidential primaries, have returned full force, given the oddness of the beautiful Huma's marriage to a forty-five year old, never married, Jewish bachelor. The only way to stop this cascading of rumors and conspiracies is for the Democratic Party to yank that man out of his seat, post haste, with no more excuses and foot dragging.

What are your feelings about Charlie Rangel and his wealth of ethics' scandals?

Konrad, From what I can see, Charlie Rangel is a crook, who has been in office too long. But at this moment his behavior is not undercutting the Democratic party's legislative initiatives.

Well, you know...marriage is supposedly for better or worse. I'd assume there wasn't a caveat during their wedding ceremony (or in the pre-nup agreement) that specified an out...for Weiner's pics on Twitt-ah. But maybe so. Perhaps she should get into it and just go with the flow.

I don know what she will do but it must suck. If anthony was a teacher I bet he would not have his job right now. More and more employers and even colleges are looking at peoples online activity to see you arw the type of person they want representing thme its time el elected start showing some control. It just silly for this to keep happening especially when they people go down from thos daily even their collegues. If want to engage on risk taking and your married go sky diving its much less dangerous than tweeting of your naked body over the net. Good luck huma what happens.

Rachel, I'm glad you brought up the issue of employers and colleges, checking on whether potential employees could be sexual predators. The university environment today, while not perfect, is greatly improved from 20 years ago, when some men may have gone into college teaching in order to prey on young woman. Others may have been talented academics, but had sexual addictions beyond their ability to control. My point here is that, we as voters (or at least those of us who care about such issues) should do the same kind of screening of the candidates we choose to support for office. I'm not talking about FBI investigations, but rather adding the issue of sexual behavior that reflects a respect for women, spouse, family to whatever other political criteria we use. I believe that there have been so many sex scandals of late, because female voters are less tolerant of such behavior. Thus rape, attempted rape, sexting young female supporters, maintaining one's mistress live in the same house as one's wife, become news, when they would previously have been swept under the carpet. Politics is losing its place as an all-male club, where virtually any form of sexual predation of women was tolerated and in some cases even bragged about over cocktails.

Colleges check so well that top administrators and professors sleeping with undergrads and grad students is just as widespread as it used to be.

I agree that there is a lot more that needs to be done in terms of sexual harassment in academia. But at my university, professors get fired for such sexually predatory behavior. The point I was trying to make in my earlier comment was not that any sector of American society was free of sexual misconduct. It was rather that, as we know, all human beings have flaws. Societies, communities, corporations, and other institutions develop, as a consequence, unspoken criteria for what flaws are and are not acceptable in one of its members. As women have gained a greater political voice in American society, the flaws in men that they would find especially distressing (sexual harassment and such) are beginning to have consequences, when previously all-male fraternities tolerated it.
