Celebrate National Iced Tea Day on June 10 with a visit to a Los Angeles tea house. These venues offer exotic teas of the hot and cold varieties in addition to an assortment of foods, including the traditional cucumber sandwich and ever-popular warm scone.

This cozy tea house offers a bevy of traditional Korean drinks including Soo-jung-gwah ( cinnamon persimmon punch) and Shi-kae (fermented rice ginger punch) that are purported to be some of Los Angeles' best chilled teas. Hwa Sun Ji has a casual, serene atmosphere and employees are happy to assist first timers with menu selection. There is a private room with floor seating for small groups, and free parking in back.
