The Huffington Post   First Posted: 06/13/2011 12:26 pm Updated: 08/13/2011 5:12 am

Devon Aoki gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend.

The 28-year-old model and actress, who appeared most recently in "2 Fast 2 Furious," is engaged to James Bailey, who Tweeted the good news.

The couple had previously been mum on the pregnancy details but now seem to be reveling in their new family: Bailey posted pics of his and Aoki's new son on his Twitter feed. He even provided a play-by-play of the labor, tweeting, "Epidural and nappy time - no heros here ;)."

Aoki, who began modeling at age 13, replaced Naomi Campbell as the face of Versace and has walked the runway for Chanel Couture. She is also the daughter of Rocky Aoki, founder of the Benihana restaurant chain.

This is Aoki and Bailey's first child.

I've given birth with and without the epidural. Childbirth hurts like a b$tçh. If you can do it without kudos to you. I did and don't regret it. But when that pain kicks in, especially back labor, even if you don't want an epidural, you start having second thoughts. congrats to them.

Good for her on the epidural. Nobody gives you an award for going natural.

To each their own.

I agree. Women should not feel pressured to go natural, but do it if it is right for them and their situation only. I know he was joking, but I am almost disappointed by the hero comment. Which part of motherhood actually makes the hero anyway?

(When I saw their photo, I though, "Either his head is too big or hers is too small.")
