Radhanath Swami
In Krishna consciousness whatever service we may have, you do it for the shelter of the lotus feet of the Lord not for our enjoyment.
@RadhanathaSwami

After living and wandering for many years as sadhu monk in India, Radhanath Swami returned to Western society in order to share the wisdom he had gained. His Twitter feed is a great source for daily thought and reflection.

It's my understanding that the topmost goal of a sadu is to please the Lord, from which the sadu develops a loving relationship with the Lord and not for the purpose of receiving shelter for serving Him, although that may be a benefit of serving Him. Are you saying you serve the Lord because He will give you shelter for serving Him?
