WHY would you even want to cross Dublin without entering a pub? Dublin has some of the best pubs in the world and their beer is fantastic!

Here's a simple answer to the problem of getting across Dublin without passing a pub. Don't pass any of them. Go inside and have a pint!

I suppose it could be done but it seems like a shame.  My family visited Dublin and became mini-residents by renting a flat for two weeks.  My husband and then 11 year old son had a favorite pub, The Duke, they visited every evening just the two of them.  My husband drank a slow pint of Guinness and my son a soft drink.  Of course we visited several pubs as a family; wonderful memories.
