Hey, Look overthere -- a rumor!!!!

The threat was sent by his pulmonary artery.

Sorry. I don't miss the late gotcha guy. He exemplified the selective ethics and accountability of the Fourth Estate that we're stuck with today.

Sorry he died but he was posing for his statue a long time before his demise. His brand of, journalism, lives on enabling and obfuscating the slow, steady killing of the Greatest Country Ever.

Besides, Russ fans have Little Russ III, who nicked himself a fine perch after a nationwide search. When I am forced to endure Luke's twittering and snarking his way through a "report," it's apparent that the apple really didn't fall far from the tree.

If I've mistakenly made an honest comment on a Memorial thread, a thousand pardons. Okay attack now.

Where are we going in this handbasket?
03:25 PM on 06/18/2011
gregory also has no ability to ask follow-up questions and never challenges dubious claims. just plain poor journalism.
04:11 PM on 06/18/2011
Faved !! Someone could accuse the President of running a
Hit squad and Gregory wouldn't think to ask grounding questions,
he'd just nod.

I absolutely agree. Gregory hosting "Meet the Press" is like having the guy with the dustpan and broom who follows the elephant, fill in for the center ring act.

There was no greater emblem of how far TV news had fallen than Tim Russert. TV news's efforts to canonize him for being an extraordinary newsman is sad and ironic. He wasn't even a newsman. He wasn't a reporter. He was a host of a pretend news-ish show that was mostly about the host and also about launching Republican talking points.

Of all the idotic "news" reporting, this one takes the cake. Tim Russert was a special guy and we are all cheering for Luke.
