Google is reminding users in the U.S. and Canada to call their dads on Father's Day.

In a post of the Google Blog, Gmail Product Marketing Manager Michael Bolognino wrote to inform users that they can use Gmail's voice calling feature to ring up the old man on the cheap.

"If you're in the U.S., you can use Gmail to make free domestic calls and calls to Canada," Bolognino wrote. "If your dad lives abroad, we have some of the best rates around, like two cents per minute to Australia, Argentina, France and many other parts of the world (unfortunately, those of you outside the U.S. will have to phone Dad the old-fashioned way)."

And, he notes, there will be a special reminder in users' Gchat window that tells them to call Dad--in case they forgot.
