New to the Brentwood housing market is the Friedman Residence designed by A. Quincy Jones (FAIA). Listed at $1.65 million, this property has been preserved by the original owners for sixty years. Comprising 2,346 square feet of living space, the house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The home was designed "to take advantage of the level building site, this large house expands wide and reaches forward with two arms," according to the listing.

A. Quincy Jones (FAIA) studied under Paul Williams (FAIA) and assisted in many of his Palm Springs properties. Jones is also known for his work with the University of Southern California, as he not only designed many of the campus buildings, but he also served as Professor and eventually Dean to the School of Architecture. A. Quincy Jones' 1965 Bel-Air vineyard home is also for sale with a listing price of $29 million.
