Players and employees with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization simply cannot stay out of trouble.
The Daily Commercial reported on Wednesday that 32 men were arrested in a "predator sex-sting operation" in Lake County, Fla. Brian Weiss was one of the men arrested and he just happens to work for the Buccaneers.
Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk pointed out that Weiss is one of the team’s Luxury Suite Sales Manager and he also has a Twitter account.
The men, ages 19 to 63, reportedly showed up at a vacation home expecting to have sex with girls ranging from nine to 14-years-old. They were met by undercover detectives, who posed online as underage girls to lure them in.
"These suspects came with the intention of having sex with a child, instead they went to jail," Lake County Sheriff Gary Borders said on Tuesday.
Each of the men was charged with traveling to meet a minor for sex, obscene communication using a computer, and lewd and lascivious behavior.
They could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
