I'm about to attend class again after 8 years, and I've never heard of "clickers". They don't sound like anything good to me.

I appreciate what clickers can do to improve student engagement in the classroom, and I've experimented with them on more than one occasion, but I just can't seem to appreciate clickers enough to use them regularly. I find them somewhat distracting.
