For me, migraines are not abstractions. I am one of the 36 million Americans who suffer from them. Migraines have sent me to the emergency room, and they have locked me in seclusion, unable to think straight and plagued with nausea.

All funnies aside......You will never wholly comprehend what affected people are suffering from, unless you experienced a full blown attack yourself.

Migraines are relatively common, often misdiagnosed and treated inadequately. According to NHF studies, more than 29.5 million Americans suffer from migraine, with women being affected three times more often than men.
And although CT-scans and MRIs are useful to confirm the lack of organic causes for the headaches, there is currently no test to confirm the diagnosis of migraine...thank you very little!

So unless Migraines will be acknowledged as the crippling disease that they are, we will continue to lay in the silent dark, with a cold hanky on our forehead, the barf-bucket next to our bed, drugged to the eyeballs with some “new” super-meds pharmaceutical companies came up with.

I am not surprised Cindy gets migraines she must endure the ranting of her husband,I suffer the same pains almost every Sunday when he appears on one of the Sunday shows.
